Colliers International I Chicago principals Darryl Silverman and Steve Kling recently signed four leases totaling more than 116,000 square feet at Six and Nine Parkway North, located at the 85-acre Parkway North Center in Deerfield, Illinois. The recent activity brings the two properties to 95 and 88 percent leased, respectively.
“Suburban office tenants continue to focus on well-located, Class A properties with modern amenities,” said Silverman.
At Six Parkway North, Lundbeck signed a long-term expansion and extension, leasing an additional 24,500 square feet to bring its square footage at the building to 73,000 square feet. Savills’ John Goodman negotiated on behalf of Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company. Additionally, Advanced Clinical signed a new lease for 16,521 square feet and will move from Ten Parkway North; the company was represented by Transwestern’s Larry Serota and John Marquardt.
At Nine Parkway North, Michael Silver & Co. signed a long-term lease for 19,253 square feet with plans to move from 5750 Old Orchard Road in Skokie in 2020. Goodman, along with Isabel Preskill, represented the firm in the transaction. Finally, global executive search and leadership consulting firm, Spencer Stuart, has taken 7,890 square feet. Bill Rogers and Isabelle Montagne with JLL negotiated the deal on behalf of Spencer Stuart.
“When space became available at Six and Nine Parkway, ownership was able to quickly identify high-quality tenants to fill the vacancies. We’re always thrilled to retain our existing tenants, and excited to welcome our new tenants to the building,” said Silverman.
A desirable campus in the North Suburban office market, Parkway North Center is comprised of six Class A office buildings with state-of-the-art conferencing and training facilities, several upscale food options, an athletic club, daycare center and a Marriott Hotel. Three, Six and Nine Parkway North are owned by Fulcrum Asset Advisors and True North Management. Colliers operates and manages all three buildings.
