Colliers International Chicago’s Chris Irwin represented Game of Irons in its 18,361-square-foot lease in Oak Brook Promenade. Featuring 16 bays, with one to six players per bay, and full food and beverage service, it will become the largest golf simulation facility in the Midwest when it opens in November 2021.
Game of Irons utilizes GOLFZON HD simulators, the most technologically advanced indoor golf simulators in the world. They allow players to learn the game and/or improve their skills with fun and challenging games. For avid “screen golfers,” it also allows players to hit the links at their favorite spots like Pebble Beach and the Old Course at St. Andrews whose courses are mapped by GPS. Further, Game of Irons’ Challenge and Tournament modes allow golfers of all skill levels to win prize monies and credits of up to $250,000.
GOLFZON was named by Golf Digest as the best golf simulator from 2017 to 2020. It is also the official golf simulator of the LPGA.
“Game of Irons will capture the trending lifestyle of millennials, in particular, in a venue designed for social gathering and entertainment through competition and friendly rivalries,” said Irwin, a senior vice president of retail sales & leasing at Colliers Chicago. “This location is ideal, being near the best-performing Dick’s Sporting Goods in the Midwest, which already brings steady foot traffic.”
Oak Brook Promenade, located at 3051 Butterfield Road in Oak Brook, is a vibrant, high-quality specialty retail and dining mixed-use center located in the premier shopping destination of the Chicagoland area.
