Colliers International I Chicago represented RedShelf, a Chicago-based educational software company and the largest inclusive access provider, in a 16,201-square-foot lease at the Boyce Building, 500 N. Dearborn. The firm had previously been subleasing 13,201 square feet, floors 12 and 13, at the same location.

Unique and creative, RedShelf’s new offices foster a collaborative work environment and offer a robust menu of River North work/life amenities for employees. Further, the 23 percent increase in space allows the tech company to accommodate its growing team as it begins its next recruitment phase.

“We’re excited to continue to build upon the strong foundation we’ve established as a company and expand our footprint in River North,” said Tim Haitaian, RedShelf co-founder and chief financial officer.

Colliers vice president Christine Torres arranged the transaction on behalf of RedShelf. Friedman Properties’ Bob Zimmerman represented ownership in the transaction.
