Colliers represented SEG Solar, a 100% U.S.-owned solar manufacturer headquartered in Houston, in its acquisition of two additional buildings totaling about 1.15 million square feet at Northwest 99 Business Park in Tomball, Texas.
Together, the two manufacturing buildings will give SEG Solar 8.6 GW of annual module capacity at Northwest 99, bringing its total U.S. module capacity to 10.6 GW in 2027. Combined with the 425,360-square-foot building SEG Solar purchased in 2025, the transactions bring SEG Solar’s footprint at NW99 to approximately 1.58 million square feet.
Jon Lindenberger and Barkley Peschel of Colliers represented SEG Solar in all three transactions, working with Clay Development, the developer of Northwest 99 Business Park.
The three facilities include:
- Building 1 | 425,360 SF: Purchased in 2025, the facility has since been built out for solar module manufacturing, with SEG Solar currently ramping up production.
- Building 2 | 450,320 SF: Under construction and planned for conversion into an additional solar module manufacturing facility.
- Building 3 | 704,080 SF: A build-to-suit warehouse facility under construction that will support the company’s growing distribution needs.
The expansion builds on SEG Solar’s existing operations in Houston. In 2023, Jon Lindenberger and Barkley Peschel of Colliers represented SEG in the purchase of the company’s headquarters and original manufacturing facility on Telge Road, which initially totaled approximately 160,000 square feet before expanding to approximately 235,000 square feet. With the additional space at Northwest 99 Business Park, SEG Solar’s existing and planned footprint across its Houston locations will total approximately 1.81 million square feet.
