The former site of the Baldwin Piano Co. headquarters in the greater Cincinnati area sold for $16.2 million. Colliers International in greater Cincinnati represented the seller, CMAT 1999-C1 Eden Park, LLC, in the transaction and was also serving as property manager and leasing agent at the time of the sale.
The Baldwin Complex encompasses a two-building office complex totaling about 460,000 square feet and 1,250 parking spaces in the periphery of downtown Cincinnati.
Steve Timmel, Jeff Johnston and Chris Prosser with Colliers represented the seller in the transaction. Chris Vollmer, John Schenk and Chris Vollmer, Jr. with Colliers served as the leasing agents for the Baldwin Complex while it was under receivership before the sale.
Paul Plattner with Colliers served as the court-appointed receiver for the office complex.
Cincinnati-based Neyer Properties was the winning bidder for the sale and plans to redevelop the Grand Baldwin building into loft-style apartments and retain the Baldwin 200 building as an office tower.
