Colliers closed the investment sale of a Class-A headquarters building at 417 E. Chicago St. in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward neighborhood.
The 42,000-square-foot Class-A headquarters is currently occupied by tenant Eversana, a life-sciences company.
The building was originally constructed in 1964 and renovated in 2013 as a build-to-suit for the headquarters of the Milwaukee-based The Dohmen Company. Dohmen Life Science Services vacated the building upon its sale in 2018 to Water Street Healthcare Partners and JLL Partners. Water Street Healthcare Partners and JLL Partners own Eversana.
The property was sold on April 1 to 417 Third Ward, LLC, an affiliate of Madison, Wisconsin-based Hovde Properties. Colliers was the sole broker in the transaction, representing seller 417 East Chicago LLC. The sales team included Tom Shepherd, Jennifer Huber-Bullock and Scott Welsh.
