Colliers International recently hired John Griffin as senior valuation specialist in its St. Louis office.
Focusing on appraisals for office, retail, industrial and multi-family properties, Griffin’s role will be to assist in the firm’s growth throughout the St. Louis region. In addition, he has developed a specialized expertise in the valuation of self-storage facilities during his seven-year industry career.
“I am attracted to commercial real estate in a broad sense for the same reason that most people enter this field; It’s highly entrepreneurial,” says Griffin. “I like that, even within a giant international firm such as Colliers, I can still have the greatest direct input over my level of success or failure.”
A native St. Louisian, Griffin was previously employed by Colliers’ San Francisco office. He joined the firm in 2007 after working for a boutique appraisal company in Sacramento, Calif.
