Project partners Confluent Development and Draper and Kramer, Inc. are redeveloping the former Southwest Bank property in St. Louis’ historic neighborhood, The Hill. Upon completion, the project will feature BMO Harris Bank, Walgreens and a future third retailer.
Draper and Kramer and Confluent Development will serve as the project’s co-developers and co-owners. Marking the partnership’s first project, construction is planned to begin in spring 2018 with anticipated completion in spring 2019.
Located at 2301 S. Kingshighway in the Reber Place Historic District, the property was formerly home to Southwest Bank. A portion of the building will be remodeled to feature BMO Harris Bank in a 4,200-square-foot facility, retaining the historical façade of the building’s exterior.
Adjacent to the future bank, Walgreens will relocate into a new 10,000-square-foot facility, also featuring a historic-inspired façade to complement the design of the existing neighborhood. The partnership will also deliver a 2,700-square-foot building planned for a future third retailer.
Rosemann & Associates is serving as the architect on the project.
