Lendlease and Russland Capital Group announced that construction has begun on 1411 South Michigan. Lendlease will serve as construction manager for the new 15-story mixed-use multifamily tower with retail and medical office space located in Chicago’s growing South Loop neighborhood. Construction is scheduled to complete in late 2017.
Designed by BKV Group, the new 264,000 square foot building will feature 199 residential apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, and a variety of tenant amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, yoga studio, basketball court, 3,000 square foot gym with an outdoor workout area, club room with theatre and outdoor grills, a business center and a dog run.
The medical office space will be occupied by Rush University Medical Center and consists of a new outpatient care facility occupying the first, fourth, and fifth floors; providing convenient primary and specialist care for individuals living and working within the South Loop.
