GoodVets, a national veterinarian partner-led animal hospital platform redefining the pet healthcare experience for veterinarians, clients, and patients, started construction on its newest Chicago veterinary clinic, GoodVets Lakeview. GoodVets elevates veterinary care for pets and pet parents by co-venturing with entrepreneurial veterinarians. In partnership with local veterinarians, Dr. Amanda Trefil and Dr. Amanda Flanagan, GoodVets identified the need for expanded quality general and urgent pet care in the area. GoodVets Lakeview is expected to open in December 2023. This clinic will be Dr. Trefil’s first animal hospital and Dr. Flanagan’s third animal hospital after opening her first, GoodVets Uptown, in July 2020, and her second, GoodVets Andersonville, in February 2023.
Located at 3478 N Broadway in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, the hospital will be accessible to pets and pet parents in the major Chicago metro area and will offer individualized care for each pet, including wellness and prevention services, diagnostics, acupuncture, routine and advanced surgery, and urgent care. The new hospital will be 2,656 square feet. Building friendly, comfortable environments in beautiful spaces with state-of-the-art technologies is a key focus of GoodVets’ approach to providing pets and their owners with the best care possible.
GoodVets takes a unique approach to the veterinary industry, offering veterinarians the opportunity to partner with GoodVets to own their hospital and connect with clients on a local level through the support of a national network, giving all partners the autonomy to grow and lead their own practice. GoodVets believes local veterinarian ownership leads to improved experiences for pets, pet owners, and hospital teams.
GoodVets currently has 22 open hospitals across 11 markets to date in the United States, with additional locations in Denver, Kansas City, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, Tampa, and Palm Beach County.
