The Opus Group (Opus) announced the start of construction on a two-story, 133,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility for Renishaw Incorporated at Oakview Business Park in West Dundee, Illinois. Completion is slated for June 2016.
A consolidation of Renishaw’s two existing sites, the approximately 47,000-square-foot warehouse space and 86,000-square-foot office portion will strengthen Renishaw’s product development and testing capabilities and provide expanded storage and distribution space for its high-precision instrumentation.
Additionally, the new building will house a central IT hub for all of its North American operations and provide flexible training and demonstration space for their customers. An open, two-story windowed exhibit hall will provide Renishaw’s clients the opportunity to attend tours, see products and equipment up close and view directly into their laboratories.
Employees will have access to a nature preserve on the site and golf course views, and the facility will also be able to accommodate future expansion, serving the needs of a growing company.
