Acting as the general contractor, Focus has completed construction of the luxury, active-adult community Everleigh in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Working on behalf of client Greystar, Focus delivered the project on budget during a time of great price and supply volatility.
Everleigh Vernon Hills consists of a multifamily structure with 173 apartment units ranging in size from 567 to 1,373 square feet and seven duplex cottages. The interiors of the one- and two-bedroom units were detailed with ceramic tile backsplashes, quartz counters and plank flooring. The build out also included community amenities, such as a luxury demonstration kitchen, game room, fitness center with group exercise room, theater, business center and lounge.
Designed by Meeks + Partners, the four-story multifamily building consists of a wood-frame structure surrounding a precast garage, with cottages as traditional wood-framed townhomes.
Additionally, Focus was proud to partner with Greystar in their efforts to raise funds for the Lake County Community Foundation (LCCF). Together with their trade partners, Focus successfully raised over $20,000 for grants to programs that support construction workforce cultivation, education, and job training in Lake County.
