Construction is nearing completion on Great Dane Trailers’ corporate office expansion at 222 N. LaSalle St., Chicago. The expansion was designed by Earles Architects and Associates of Chicago, just 18 months after EAA completed the original office suite build-out. The 6,200-square-foot addition brings the total space to 23,900 square feet. The expansion will allow the company to add 30 employees.
Great Dane Trailers is part of privately owned CC Industries, a Henry Crown Company. The company is one of the largest manufacturers of truck trailers in North America.
The expansion of the 9th floor space was designed to allow for private offices and open workstations for the employees, along with a new conference room with video-conferencing capabilities, an employee break room and IT support areas. The 222 N. LaSalle building has 26 stories.
