Smithfield Properties is nearing completion of SoNu Digs, Chicago’s first ground-up micro-apartment building, which has been constructed from the ground-up at 1515 N Fremont Street in Lincoln Park.
The apartments range in size from 336 square feet to 438 square feet. They all include a Clei Italian built-in sofa/bed, built-in wardrobes, desks and dressers, a full kitchen, in-unit washers and dryers, full-sized bathrooms, front door entry electronic hardware and fiber wired internet with modem.
Common areas of the apartment building include furnished indoor and outdoor lounge areas with WI-FI and secure bike storage. Pizzeria Bebu, the first venture of restauranteur Zach Smith, will occupy commercial space within the building.
SoNu is final part of a planned SoNo complex built by Smithfield Properties which includes the SoNo East apartments and SoNo West Condominiums. The property is being leased and managed by Calibrate Management.
