Ridge, the industrial development arm of Transwestern Development Co., has completed a 186,000-square-foot, speculative industrial building in the Brewster Creek Business Park in the northwest region of the Chicago metro. Darcie Fankhauser, senior vice president at Ridge, led the development team.
“We are pleased to complete Ridge Brewster Creek II and deliver a high-quality building that will meet the steady demand for modern industrial space in DuPage County,” said Fankhauser. “With strong market fundamentals and leasing velocity, the project is well situated for the competitive environment.”
Located at 1365 Brewster Creek Boulevard in Bartlett, IL, Ridge Brewster Creek II features a 32-foot clear height, 35 loading docks, two drive-in doors and 212 car parking spaces. Brewster Creek Business Park, a 670-acre, mixed-use business park, is located at the intersection of County Road 29 and Munger Road just east of State Route 59, providing accessibility to I-290 and I-355, as well as the planned extension of the I-390 tollway to O’Hare International Airport.
Ridge closed on the sale of the building on Feb. 28, 2018. The general contractor was Triumph Construction Services Corp., the architect was Harris Architects Inc. and Eriksson Engineering Associate Ltd. was the civil engineer.
