The Palmer Lodge at 3228 West Palmer, a new adaptive reuse project in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, is on the market. New Era Chicago and Ranquist Development Group collaborated with Campbell Coyle to redevelop the former synagogue. Essex Realty Group is marketing the property for sale, seeking $6 million.
Designed by Pappageorge Haymes, the project converted a 1920’s-era synagogue into a 14-unit luxury apartment complex. The new apartments, 10 of which are leased, have been expertly curated and offer residents unique floor plans, historic character and bold, modern finishes. The project also includes a new public green space and community garden.
Each apartment features an open floor plan flooded by ample natural light from full-length oversized windows. The carefully restored exposed brick in each apartment is contrasted with new wide-plank natural oak flooring creating bright and airy living spaces accented by high ceilings with elevated open loft spaces.
Located at 3228 West Palmer Street, the property is adjacent to Palmer Square Park. Jordan Gottlieb, principal at Essex Realty Group, is the lead broker for this listing.
