Jerome Tabolich, 63, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Minneapolis’ Dougherty Funding LLC, died suddenly on Dec. 31.
Tabolich joined Dougherty Funding in 2004 and had more than 30 years experience in the commercial finance and lending industry.
At Dougherty, Tabolich helped lead the development of the company’s commercial loan participation and syndication business for the Community Bank marketplace. There, Tabolich directed originations exceeding $5 billion.
Tabolich served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
