COO with Golub & Company named president of Chicagoland Apartment Association’s BOD

Steve Sise, Chief Operating Officer of Golub & Company, has been named president of the Chicagoland Apartment Association’s Board of Directors, a trade association representing thousands of apartment industry professionals including owners and managers of buildings ranging from two-flats to the largest publicly traded real estate investment trusts.

Sise serves as Chief Operating Officer and oversees the management of Golub’s residential and commercial portfolio with a strong emphasis on achieving optimal financial and operational performance. His role entails fostering internal collaboration across all verticals and cultivating partnerships to develop and implement business strategies effectively.

Sise brings expertise in acquisition, disposition, development underwriting and asset management. He is also a member of Golub’s Investment Committee, contributing to the decision-making process regarding new acquisitions, developments, and overall business plans. Sise has spearheaded the growth of Golub’s residential property management division for nearly a decade, expanding it to a current portfolio comprising 5,000 units.

In 2016, he established and led the residential property management team, driving the successful launch and lease-up of six new developments encompassing a total of 2,500 units. Sise earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University. Sise has been an active member of the Chicagoland Apartment Association Board of Directors since 2014 and has served as an Executive Officer since 2022.

Sise assumed his new role on Tuesday, December 9, when the CAA Board of Directors held its annual Board of Directors meeting. Board officers were also confirmed for the executive committee for 2026.
