Garrettsville is positioned between Akron and Youngstown, Ohio.
The AutoZone is on a new 15-year Ground Lease with rental increases, creating long-term stability for the private North Carolina buying group. Bob Havasi and Dan Cooper of the Cooper Commercial Investment Group in Cleveland represented the seller, a private Midwest investor.
The buyer was located by the Cooper Group prior to marketing the building for sale and purchased the asset at a 4.40% CAP. The all-cash transaction went from contract to close in approximately 45 days.
