An Illinois licensed cannabis craft grow company hired SVN Chicago Industrial exclusively for site selection, negotiation, and special-use permitting due to the company’s expertise in the cannabis industry. John Joyce, CCIM, managing director of the industrial team of SVN Chicago Industrial represented the buyer in the sale of the 66,000-square-foot industrial building located at 1125 Carnegie St. in Rolling Meadows. Colliers International represented the Seller.
The industrial facility will house a craft cannabis grow facility. The Rolling Meadows opportunity was selected for the city’s support of the fast-growing cannabis industry in Illinois. A special use permit was awarded to the buyer through a strategic partnership with a land-use attorney.
The asset sold for close to $3 million.
