CRE vet named senior executive vice president at Minneapolis office of Colliers

Mark Kolsrud has been promoted to senior executive vice president at the Minneapolis-St. Paul office of Colliers.

An expert in office and industrial investment commercial real estate services, Kolsrud has transacted more than $3 billion during his 35-year career.

Kolsrud began his career working as a property manager and broker. He joined Colliers in 2013 and has since played a role in shaping the commercial real estate landscape in Minnesota and the Midwest. In the past two years alone, Kolsrud has brokered the largest industrial transaction in Minnesota state history — Industrial Equities’ 34-building portfolio that sold for $247.4 million in 2019 — and the largest transaction in Minnesota state history, CSM’s 59-property, $655 million portfolio sale that closed in April of 2020.

Kolsrud leads Colliers’ office and industrial investment services group, which consists of associate Peter Carbonneau, associate Peter Loehrer and senior property marketing strategist Lydia Paasch. This team has led the market during the past several years in transacting office and industrial properties and portfolios.
