Cresa added a team of six advisors, led by industry veteran Marcus Cook. Cook and team, formerly with Vestian, are known for their work across the U.S. on behalf of retail clients. They will be based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Cook, a principal, is joined by advisors Dan Piskadlo, Skyler Peppo, Lucian Simich, Don Gill and Leslie Karr.
Cook, a 25-year industry veteran whose leadership and performance have made him one of the most well-respected retail specialists in the U.S., has partnered with some of the most recognizable brands in the world to negotiate strategic real estate solutions including Pep Boys’ disposition, releasing, optimization and portfolio growth across the U.S.; Domino’s and Jet’s Pizza’s strategic site selection and relocations for multi-tenant operators; and Fannie May/Nutella Café’s high-profile retail placements in the urban core. Other high-profile clients include Icahn Enterprises, Sola Salons, and Verizon. He previously worked at SVN International Corp., Baum Realty, and Conlon Real Estate.
Cook is a graduate of the University of Iowa and a member of ICSC.
