Cresa builds its brokerage presence in Omaha

Cresa is growing its brokerage ranks in Omaha, Nebraska, with the addition of three professionals. Corey Ragole and Erick Tjarks join as vice presidents and Kelly Koepsell as an advisor.

Corey Ragole, a Vice President with the firm’s Project Management team, will focus on the design and construction process on behalf of his clients. From site selection to delivery, Ragole has completed a variety of buildings across multiple asset classes including cold storage, food processing, healthcare, office and education.

Notable projects include a 424,000-square-foot cold storage distribution center as well as a 521,000-square-foot cold storage distribution center complete with 3648 pallet positions, production swing spaces and the largest blast freezing facility in the U.S. Ragole was most recently a construction manager with Smithfield Foods where he oversaw projects for capital infrastructure, supply chain and pork manufacturing plants across the U.S.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Ragole earned a bachelor’s from the College of Engineering and Technology.

Erick Tjarks, a Vice President with Cresa’s Transaction Management group, will lead new business pursuits, leveraging Cresa’s platform of services to provide a comprehensive and flexible service delivery for clients. In addition, he will focus on expanding the company’s transaction management client roster with a particular emphasis on industrial.

Tjarks was previously a Director at States Resources Corp., a full-service loan acquisition and servicing company, where he provided underwriting of distressed commercial-backed loans for acquisition. While there he executed disposition of a large multifamily project and created an Asset Based line of credit to create more efficient acquisitions. Before that, Tjarks was an Associate Director AIC Ventures, a private-equity real estate practice, where he assisted in the acquisition of and debt placement for more than $500 million of industrial properties nationwide.

Tjarks is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

Kelly Koepsell is an Advisor with Cresa’s Nonprofit Practice group and will provide in-depth analysis and capital campaign planning to nonprofit clients. As the current director of membership and operations at Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, he brings a unique understanding of the very distinct needs of these organizations to his position. He was previously a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

Koepsell is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and earned an MAS at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MPA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
