Cresa Chicago recently negotiated leases for Insight North America, a leading technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions, and PAE, which offers enduring support for the essential missions of the U.S. government, its allies and other international organizations.
Cresa’s Brandon Clarke, Bradley Metzger, and Robert Wheeler represented Insight North America in its Hanover Park, Illinois, lease renewal on adjacent distribution facilities, totaling a combined 390,422 square feet: 1560 Hunter Court, 151,999 square feet, leased from Liberty Property Trust; and 1600 Hunter Court, 238,423 square feet, managed by TA Realty Associates. Insight North America will employ 252 workers at the locations.
Joined by Tom Birnbach, Dennis Tapiero and Lauren Berkey, Wheeler and Metzger also represented PAE, a U.S. Postal Service contractor, in its lease of 723,291 square feet at its 1070 Windham Parkway location in Romeoville, Ill. — one of the largest industrial leases signed in Illinois year-to-date. The winning property was leased from Liberty Property Trust.
The single-tenant complex sits on a fully fenced 39-acre site along the south I-55 corridor in Will County. Constructed in 2004, the property features 12,000 square feet of existing office space that can be expanded as needed, as well as 150 exterior docks, four drive-in doors, a 30′ clear height, parking for 313 trailers and 175 cars, and a guard station.
PAE signed a seven-year lease and took occupancy in May 2015, backfilling the space formerly occupied by Home Depot. The company employs approximately 130 workers at the Romeoville location.
