Cresa Madison earned two Commercial Brokers Group 2012 ‘Deal of the Year’ awards in the office and retail Categories. Winning two categories for a second year in a row, the Madison-based corporate tenant advisory firm earned honors for its work on Navitus Health Solutions and A Woman’s Touch.

The annual Deal of the Year awards program recognizes significant commercial real estate transactions in the Madison area.

“Cresa Madison is very pleased to be honored again this year by the Commercial Brokers Group,” said TJ Blitz, managing partner at Cresa Madison. “It is an exciting time for our firm, and for our industry as a whole. We are seeing more activity in all sectors of the marketplace. Companies are expanding and making longer-term commitments to the local and surrounding area, and landlords are looking more creatively at deals to make them happen.”

Managing principals Tim Rikkers and Matt Apter won the office category for representing Navitus Health Solutions. A full-service pharmacy benefit company, Navitus Health Solutions engaged Cresa Madison to secure a new 70,000-square-foot, three-story, Class-A office building in Grand Chute, Wis. The new building will function as Navitus’ main customer service center and data center.

Managing principalsBlitz and Apter won the retail category for representing A Woman’s Touch, a sexuality boutique, in their 5,247-square-foot relocation. Cresa Madison successfully identified an East Side location that could accommodate the company’s ever-increasing inventory and expanded list of educational offerings. A Woman’s Touch moved into its new space March. 1.

In 2011, Cresa Madison received two Commercial Brokers Group Deal of the Year awards for representing Ale Asylum and Shopbop in the Industrial and Retail categories. Rikkers was also nominated this year in the Office category for his representation of Luminex Corporation.
