Cresa Madison represented Amatis Controls in the company’s acquisition of a new site located at 8710 Montclair Drive in Middleton, Wis. Amatis moved into the new space on April 1.
Amatis Controls manufactures technology infrastructure for remotely sensed data and controls. Products include solar thermal controls, commercial Direct Current lighting controls, electricity and gas metering devices and educational Energy Kiosks for campus and green buildings.
Cresa Madison was engaged by Amatis to find a location that would enable Amatis to test and manufacture products as well as attract students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“Opening Amatis’ first manufacturing facility in the Madison area came about naturally,” said Piper Foster, vice president of Amatis, in a written statement. “Over the past two months, we have met nothing but competent, embracing and helpful people at every step. As our firm grows, we are looking forward to meeting compatible companies and clients.”
This is Amatis’ second location. The company’s corporate headquarters is located in Aspen, Colo.
