Cresa names principal in Omaha office

Johnny Dorn

Johnny Dorn has been promoted from vice president to principal in the Omaha, Nebraska, office of Cresa. 

Dorn joined Cresa in 2015 as an advisor and has quickly risen through the ranks. A business developer with strong business relationships, he is a trusted partner to for- and not-for-profit occupiers across a variety of industries.

Notable recent transactions include a 120,000-square-foot build-to-suit on behalf of Pinnacle Bank Sports Complex in Grand Island, Nebraska; a 90,000-square-foot renovation and expansion on behalf of Hastings YMCA in Hastings, Nebraska; a 66,000-square-foot development project for Gunderson Properties in Omaha’s Heartwood Preserve; a 60,000-square-foot headquarters expansion on behalf of LRS Healthcare in Omaha; and a 56,000-square-foot build-to-suit lease on behalf of RTG Medical in Fremont, Nebraska. 

Prior to his real estate career, Dorn was a regional account manager with ServiceMaster Restore and a Territory Sales representative for Forest Pharmaceuticals. He was drafted in the 15th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft by the Florida Marlins. 

An active member of his community, Dorn is Executive Board Vice President of the Nebraska Greats Foundation, a 501C-3 non-profit providing medical and financial assistance to former student-athletes from Nebraska’s sixteen four-year colleges and universities.

He earned a BA from the University of Nebraska.
