Cressy Commercial Real Estate will be joined by the community to celebrate its 75th anniversary with an open house, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour unveiling its new headquarters at 200 N. Church St. in Mishawaka, Indiana, Thursday, Oct. 12.
Attendees will hear remarks from the chief executive officer of Cressy Commercial Real Estate, Chris Fielding; Vice-Chairman for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Tribal Council, Gary Morseau; Mayor of Mishawaka, Dave Wood; President of the South Bend Regional Chamber, Jeff Rea; and Principal of Cressy Commercial Real Estate, George Cressy Jr.
Cressy Commercial Real Estate was originally founded in 1948 as a local residential real estate company by George Cressy Sr. and Ed Everett Jr. Now, with over 100 employees and projects nationwide, Cressy Commercial offers an integrated platform of services including brokerage, property management, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, construction, and development.
The relocation of its headquarters will accommodate this growth. Renovations of what was once the Mishawaka Police Station began in February of 2023 and were completed by Cressy’s construction division in August of 2023. The building will also support the anticipated growth from new opportunities in the federal space through its majority sale to Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming investment arm of the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi. This, in addition to a newfound minority ownership in a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, KMC Solutions, will help bring federal contracting jobs back to Mishawaka.
