Cullinan Properties, Ltd., the owner and developer of Streets of St. Charles, has announced that a number of businesses including Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Wamhoff Financial Planning and Accounting Services, Brown Smith Wallace and MassageLuxe have recently signed leases at the Streets of St. Charles, which is currently under construction. Located in St. Charles, Mo. on South Fifth Street at the I-70 interchange, the over one million square foot mixed-use development is on target for a 2012 opening.
“We are very pleased that these businesses selected Streets of St. Charles as their new home,” stated Lee Wolfson, vice president of leasing for Cullinan Properties, in a release. “Five Guys Burgers and Fries is one of the top-rated restaurants in its class with more than 750 locations in over 40 states. Wamhoff Financial Planning and Accounting Services is the top-ranked independent advisor in Missouri. Brown Smith Wallace is the 109th largest accounting firm in the United States and MassageLuxe is a popular day spa that provides quality massages, facials and other personal services.”
Construction of the first building — a three-story structure of approximately 100,000 square feet — is underway, and Cullinan will be delivering that phase in the Spring of 2012. The ground floor of the building will house retail and restaurant space, with the upper levels containing office space. The first retail opening will begin in June 2012, with other staged openings throughout the summer.
In 2012 construction will start on a 300,000-square-foot mixed-use residential-retail building. The 196 luxury apartment units will feature many upgrades, including high ceilings, balconies, in-unit washer and dryer units, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The residents will enjoy many amenities, such as a private clubhouse with a fitness center, men’s and women’s locker rooms, party room, business center, cinema, saltwater pool with infinity edge, hot tub and sun terrace. Beneath the residential levels there will be an additional 50,000 square feet of retail shops and restaurants. Also in 2012, construction will commence on a 1,000-space parking garage.
