Jack Cooper, the Kansas City-based automotive transportation and logistics services company, has signed a lease for 25,000 square feet at 2345 Grand, the newly renovated 28-story Class-A office tower near Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jack Cooper will occupy 27,000 square feet on the 23rd and 24th floors at 2345 Grand, the same building where the company has been headquartered before moving to Town Pavilion in recent years.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Miles McCune and Jeff Winters represented building owners Lingerfelt Commonwealth Partners and CrossHarbor Capital in lease negotiations. Phillip James and Rollie Fors of Colliers International represented Jack Cooper.
Work started late last year to create an amenities hub on the 28-story, 535,000-square-foot building’s first floor. The final product will feature a work café called Gather, which will include yet-to-be-announced food and beverage providers with flexible seating to dine, work or host small events, as well as a multi-purpose room, which will be ideal for conferences, training or other tenant needs.
The project also includes a fitness center overhaul to bring in new top-of-the-line equipment and country-club-style perks, such as towel service. In addition, the lobby will be renovated with new fixtures, modern accents and new furniture.
