DuPage Habitat for Humanity, a local chapter of the non-profit association that builds homes for limited-income people, has leased 20,742 square feet of the 103,200 sf facility at 869 S. Route 53, in Addison, Ill. This location will support their ReStore resale outlets, which sell donated, reusable and surplus building materials to the public. Michael Hawryluk, an associate director at Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. (C&W) represented the landlord, Cabot Properties. Rich Antczak of Grubb & Ellis represented Habitat for Humanity.
Termax Corporation, a custom fastener and clip manufacturer for the automotive industry, leased 10,914 square feet of the 139,000-square-foot facility located at 650 N. Church Street in Lake Zurich, Il. The space will help accommodate the company’s expansion needs. C&W’s Hawryluk represented Termax. The building owner is Worldwide Transmissions, and was represented by Rick Delisle and Sergio Chapa of Lee & Associates.
PDS Transportation, a provider of local, regional, and national shipping services, leased 31,191 square feet at 3701 Illinois in St. Charles, Ill. Hawryluk of C&W represented landlord Cabot Properties in this long-term lease. Michael Marconi of Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented the tenant.
Creative Recycling Systems, Inc., a national company that provides private companies and government with electronics recycling solutions, leased 38,803 square feet at 278 Windy Point Drive in Glendale Heights, Ill. Britt Casey, executive director, Hawryluk, both of C&W of Illinois, Inc. represented the landlord, TA Associates Realty, in this long-term lease. Shane O’Neil and Ryan Freking of Studley represented the tenant.
Lowrey Organ Company, a manufacturer and marketer of recreational instruments for the home market, leased 41,942 square feet at 847 North Church Court in Elmhurst, Ill. Casey and Hawryluk of C&W represented the landlord, TA Associates Realty, in this off-market lease transaction. Adam Haefner and Victor DeBoer of Darwin Realty & Development Corporation represented the tenant.
