Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq represented Calabrio, a workforce optimization and analytics software development company, in a new 30,000-square-foot lease in the Wyman Building in Minneapolis.

The lease, effective May 1, will serve as the company’s headquarters. Calabrio is moving from a 28,000-square-foot location in Plymouth, Minn.

After a year of scouring the suburban and downtown office market for the right location for Calabrio, Doug Fulton of Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq, identified the Wyman Building in downtown Minneapolis’ North Loop district as a perfect fit for the company. Renovations started this week and occupancy is expected in early May.

“This space is a great fit for our growing company because it supports our culture of innovation and collaboration. The vibrant downtown location will help us attract and retain employees that want to be part of a fast moving company in a dynamic industry,” said Tom Goodmanson, president and chief executive officer of Calabrio.

The 200,000-square-foot building, built in 1901, has renovated mechanical systems and common areas, and is now 100-percent occupied. It is owned by Swervo Development, which is also handling construction of the renovations.
