Cushman & Wakefield announced that a 7.5 million-square-foot property management portfolio comprised of industrial, office and retail properties previously managed by NAI Fortis Group has transitioned to Cushman & Wakefield. Six members of NAI Fortis Group’s property management team have also joined the firm.
The addition expands Cushman & Wakefield’s Louisville property management portfolio to approximately 20 million square feet under management, further strengthening the firm’s presence in the region.
The transition follows the planned retirement of NAI Fortis Group founder and President Jon Seiz. Seiz founded the firm in 2001. As he began planning for retirement, he sought a long-term solution that would provide continuity for clients and opportunities for employees while preserving the high level of service that clients have come to expect.
Separate from the property management portfolio transition, NAI Fortis Group’s brokerage professionals have joined Commercial Kentucky, an independently owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Program.
