Cushman & Wakefield‘s Corporate Occupier & Investment Services team announced the purchase of three Class A office buildings located in Rosemont, Illinois, by Adventus Realty Trust. This acquisition brings Adventus’s Chicago area portfolio to over 2.1 million-square-feet.
These properties include Columbia Centre I at 5600 N River Road (221,850 square-feet), Columbia Centre II at 9450 W Bryn Mawr Avenue (148,927 square-feet), and Columbia Centre III at 9525 Bryn Mawr Avenue (249,437 square-feet). All are Class A office buildings with a combined 93% occupancy. Anchor tenants include World Kitchen, Life Fitness, and Resolution Life.
Cushman & Wakefield has advised Adventus, a Vancouver-based REIT, on the strategic acquisition of 2.1 million-square-feet of Chicago area real estate within the last two years, including:
• Cantera Meadows, a 203,842 square-foot, eight story, Class A office building located in Warrenville, Illinois • 111 Pfingsten Road, a 120,927 square-foot, four story, Class A office building located in Deerfield, Illinois • Oak Brook Office Center: 2707, 2803, 2805, and 2809 Butterfield Road in Oak Brook, Illinois, a 312,262 square-foot, Class B office complex • The Crossings of Oak Brook: 1420 and 1520 Kensington Road in Oak Brook, Illinois, a 303,510 square-foot, Class A office complex • 2500 Westfield Drive in Elgin, Illinois, a 545,848 square-foot, Class A office building acquired in 2012
