Daniel Niewoehner, AIA, has joined HOK‘s Science + Technology practice as vice president and regional practice leader in Chicago.
An established industry leader with 20 years of experience planning and programming laboratories, Niewoehner has worked on more than six million square feet of projects in North America, the Middle East and Asia. His clients have included Argonne National Laboratory, CJ Corporation, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the BJC Institute of Health at Washington University School of Medicine, and City Colleges of Chicago, Malcolm X College Campus. Niewoehner also has substantial experience working with the University of Chicago, one of HOK’s clients.
Niewoehner is proficient at fostering scientific discovery and collaboration through a multidisciplinary, strategic process that translates clients’ visions into world-class facilities.
