Darwin Realty‘s Noel Liston and Brendan Sheahan represented First Community Bank in the sale of 1616 Berkley Street, in Elgin, Illinois to Simplomatic Manufacturing.
The property is 42,000 square feet, on 3.3 acres featuring 7,500 square feet in office space, 14- to 20-foot clear ceiling heights, four exterior docks, two drive-in doors and expandable parking. The property was a low-cost provider for quality, functional space and one of the last available free-standing facilities in the Kane County industrial market.
Ed Brandt of Transwestern represented the buyer, Simplomatic, a third-generation family owned business that offers plastic injection molding and CNC controlled injection molding presses and servo driven stamping presses.
