DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International facilitated the refinancing for a large portfolio of buildings for Darwin Investment Group. The portfolio includes 40 buildings totaling 2.2 million square feet throughout greater Chicagoland and the $100 million loan was refinanced through the firm’s lender, Wells Fargo.
Darwin Investment Group is a privately held real estate investment company that focuses on commercial real estate investments throughout Chicagoland. The investment firm last refinanced its portfolio in December 2015, when it was made up of 1.4 million square feet of space and 27 buildings.
The current portfolio is home to more than 225 tenants in 40 buildings and spreads from the south suburbs of Chicago to southeast Wisconsin.
