V3 Companies has expanded its structural engineering services with the key hire of David Greifzu. ‘
Formerly with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Greifzu brings more than 30 years of significant experience in bridge design, planning, hydraulics, investigations and construction. He held several positions at IDOT, including Design Unit Chief and Planning Unit Chief.
He also served as Engineer of Bridge Planning, where he was responsible for the overall planning, rehabilitation and replacement projects for structures on the state highway system. Dave is an industry leader, serving as the current chairman of the Illinois Structural Engineering Board with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Greifzu has a Masters and Bachelors in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is licensed to practice as a professional engineer and structural engineer in Illinois.
