The MPEA Board of Trustees selected David Kahnweiler to serve as its Vice Chair.
Kahnweiler has been the Chairman and CEO of Colliers International Chicago for 25 years and has been at the firm for a total of 38 years. Kahnweiler has served on the MPEA Board since March 2015.
The MPEA is a municipal corporation established by the Illinois General Assembly which attracts trade shows, conventions, meetings and expositions and public events to the city of Chicago. MPEA owns McCormick Place, the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Marriot Marquis Chicago and the Wintrust Arena.
