Allina Health has formed a joint venture with Surgical Care Affiliates, which has hired Minneapolis-based Davis to develop and own its first new ambulatory surgery center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Davis expects to break ground in late April or early May on a Class-A, two-story, 400,000-square-foot medical building fronting Highway 610. The Allina/SCA joint venture will lease 18,000 square feet on the second floor.
This is the third Davis project involving SCA. In 2017, Davis developed the 148,000-square-foot HealthEast Clinic & Specialty Center in Maplewood, Minnesota. Davis anticipates completing the 78,000-square-foot Xchange Medical building in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, later this year.
The architect for the Brooklyn Park project is Minneapolis-based Synergy Architecture Studio. The general contractor is Timco Construction Inc., headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota. 610 Medical is expected to be completed at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
