Dayton Street Partners has acquired the four-tenant, 206,150-square-foot industrial building at 6012 Monroe Court in Morton Grove, Illinois.
While the property is currently 100 percent leased, the exterior, designed originally to look like a castle, will require a significant overhaul. Dayton Street’s $2.0 million interior and exterior renovation campaign will modernize the façade and also improve existing conditions. In addition to the new exterior renovation, plans call for installing a new roof, adding brand new T-8 lighting and upgrading loading docks. In addition, Dayton Street will demolish several metal out-buildings to make room for 1.5 acres of secured parking/trailer storage.
The property features close access to I-94, and includes 28′ clear warehouse space, 17 loading docks, three drive-in doors, parking for 150 cars and 1.5 acres of trailer parking.
