Dayton Street Partners has executed a lease at 6123 Monroe Court in Morton Grove, Illinois with Cofair Products, Inc. Cofair will occupy approximately 30,000 square feet of the warehouse/distribution facility which is located in the Eden’s industrial corridor. The new space represents an expansion and consolidation of the company’s three Skokie, Illinois, locations. The lease commences in February 2020.
Cofair is a leader in the manufacture and distribution of unique waterproofing self-adhesive membranes and flashing tapes for installing and repairing roofs, windows, RVs, mobile homes, skylights, decks, gutters, driveways and more. The new warehouse/distribution center puts the company near critical supply chain infrastructure, local expressways and a talented labor pool.
Dayton Street recently completed a multimillion-dollar interior and exterior renovation campaign aimed at modernizing the 208,000-square-foot facility. The Chicago-based owner/developer updated the façade, repaved the parking lots, installed a new roof and added new signage. Other tenants at the building include Haitai, SVI and Lakeshore Athletic Services.
Brendan Green with Colliers International represented Cofair in the transaction, while Eric Fisher and Steve Stone of Cushman and Wakefield represented Dayton Street Partners. Dayton Street is one of the more active buyers in the Chicagoland area, with a focus the acquisition and development of high barrier to entry infill industrial and logistics properties.
