Detroit’s District Capital has hired commercial real estate industry veteran Jon Potvin.
Potvin will be tasked with developing and managing the Grand Rapids, Michigan, office of District Capital. In his new role, Potvin will oversee the production of all commercial mortgage lending on the west side and northern portion of Michigan.
Potvin previously led Colliers’ West Michigan offices. In his time at Colliers, the company expanded into several new markets across the west side of the state beginning in Holland, Traverse City and East Lansing.
As managing director, he provided overall strategic and operational responsibility for the entire portfolio of the company’s offerings and oversaw the key functions of sales, delivery and business enabling functions.
