Detroit’s Kraemer Design Group makes pair of promotions

Detroit-based architecture and interior design firm Kraemer Design Group, PLC has promoted Jennifer Dwyer to Interior Design Lead and Kevin Gurtowsky to Project Architect.

Dwyer has been an interior designer with KDG since 2014. She relocated from western New York and is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she earned a bachelor’s degree specializing in interior design. Dwyer was the interior designer of the historic adaptive re-use of the Vinton Building in Detroit, a luxury multifamily project, where she designed each detail from beginning to end as part of the project team.

Gurtowsky is a native of southeast Michigan and is a two-time graduate of Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, earning a master’s degree in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree in 2009, both in architecture. Gurtowsky has been a member of the project team for historic projects such as the Elliott Building and the David Stott Building, as well as a number of other commercial projects in KDG’s portfolio.
