Detroit’s Kraemer Design Group names new project architect

Detroit-based Kraemer Design Group, PLC, an architecture, interior design and creative firm, has promoted Theresa Schorr to Project Architect following the successful completion of her architect licensure exam.

Since joining Kraemer Design Group in August of 2017, Schorr has joined project teams for the historic Park Avenue Building and Women’s City Club Building in Detroit. Prior to moving to Detroit to be part of the city’s revitalization, she served as a designer for Lawrence Group in St. Louis. Schorr also spent more than three years in Austin, Texas, as a project coordinator for Beck Group.

Schorr is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where she earned her master’s degree in architecture in 2012.

Schorr’s promotion makes her the sixth team member to earn a promotion from Architectural Designer to Project Architect at Kraemer Design Group this year as the firm expands to accommodate a robust portfolio of projects in Detroit and throughout the Midwest.
