Detroit’s Kraemer Design Group promotes project architect

Detroit-based Kraemer Design Group, an architecture, interior design and creative firm, has promoted Mollie Decker to Project Architect following the successful completion of her architect licensure exam.

Decker joined KDG in November of 2016, and is contributing to projects in the firm’s home city of Detroit such as the Free Press Building, Hotel Indigo Detroit and Eddystone. In addition to her professional successes at KDG, Decker co-owns and operates a sustainable clothing company called Object Apparel, with products made using organic and ethically-sourced materials.

Prior to joining KDG, Decker worked at several reputable small architecture firms in the Detroit area. She earned her Master of Architecture degree from The University of Detroit Mercy in 2013. In addition, she has fostered a well-rounded understanding of architecture on a global level due to her studies abroad in Poland and Berlin.
