Multi-Housing News recently honored Village Green, a luxury multi-family rental company in Detroit, as Development Company of the Year. During a ceremony in New York, Jonathan Holtzman, chairman and chief executive officer of Village Green, accepted the award on behalf of the nearly 100-year-old private company.
“For three generations Village Green has adapted and evolved to reflect how each renter has changed over the decades. Our success can be attributed to our understanding of the marketplace, the renter and the financial market,” said Holtzman.
The awards recognize the multi-family industry’s most noteworthy companies, people and properties. Judged by a panel of industry experts, Village Green was selected for its accomplishments in the last year, including a partnership with Compatriot Capital, a Dallas-based subsidiary of Sammons Enterprises, Inc.
In addition to receiving Development Company of the Year from Multi-Housing News, Village Green was a finalist for Property Management Company of the Year through the National Association of Home Builders Association’s Pillars of the Industry Awards.
