Northern Iowa Die Casting — which manufactures and assembles aluminum and zinc die castings for manufacturers — is planning a $2.7 million expansion project at its Lake Park, Iowa, facility.
The project will add 12,600 square feet of manufacturing, operations and office space. Jeff Skalbeck, Northern Iowa Die Casting’s general manager, will manage the expansion.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority awarded Northern Iowa Die Casting $60,000 in direct financial assistance plus tax benefits through the High Quality Jobs program. The expansion will create 18 new jobs, 10 of which come with a qualifying wage of $14.63 an hour.
