Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT has reached an agreement to sell its data center in Northlake for $315 million to Digital Realty, according to a company statement.
That’s the highest price ever paid for a Chicago-area data center, according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
The data center, located at 505 N. Railroad Ave., had a net book value of about $227.3 million, according to the statement.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017.
