DK Mallon brokers sale of former Walmart for redevelopment in Joliet, IL

DK Mallon, in cooperation with Lancet Realty Advisors has brokered the sale of the 116,134 square foot former Walmart, located in Joliet, Illinois. According to DK Mallon’s Managing Director, Mike Mallon, whose firm represents Walmart’s owned excess buildings in Illinois, the space had been vacant for 8 years and the redevelopment is going to be a great addition to the neighborhood.

DealPoint Merrill acquired the Center and their executives, David Frank, CEO, negotiated the transaction, and Sterling McGregor, Chief Investment Officer, handled the due diligence for the sale. Jason Limbert of DealPoint Merrill completed the acquisition. DKMallon’s, Mike Mallon and Lancet Realty Advisors’ Jerry Monash represented Walmart in the deal.
